Weekend with Cousins

Over the weekend we got to spend time with whole family. My brother and his family that live in Georgia came to visit. We had a great time watching all the cousins play together.

They are only a month apart in age but you can tell Aiden is much bigger.

We had a birthday party for Addy and Gavin since there were the closest, but everyone got to open presents.

Not doing a great job of staying on top of the BLOG...

Since starting working at the preschool two days a week I've noticed I haven't been able to keep up with the blog like I normally do. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Aiden would eat waffles and syrup every night if we let him, as you can see by him licking the plate.

I had a meeting one Saturday and this is how I found Travis and Aiden after I got out of the shower. If I didn't already believe that Aiden was Travis's mini me this would only prove it more.

We watched a friend's little girl while she had math night at school and she brought Aiden a train whistle as a thank you.

We celebrated Gavin's First Birthday on the 7th.

Random Stuff

We haven't been up to much lately just staying home hoping to avoid the "sickness" that is going around school.

Aiden loves shoes almost as much as I do. He put on Travis's boots and hat and was walking around the house like this.

I have been trying to figure out what to do with all of Aiden's toys and thought I'd move the liquor cabinet into the dinning room. Aiden was a big help with the dolly.

Ryan gave Aiden a Homer Simpson doll for Christmas and one afternoon I found him putting Homer to sleep. He even let him use his blanket.

Before the cold weather

Last week was a little crazy at the McNulty house. With the ever changing weather, Aiden came down with Bronchitis. By the end of the week he was feeling much better and we were able to spend a little time at the park on Friday afternoon before the cold front came in.

The Official Birthday

On January 9th Aiden and I celebrated our birthdays. We had a couple of friends over for dinner. This was a lot less work than last year.

My sister thought that buying Aiden a drum set would be a great present. All I have to say is Gavin's Birthday is in a few weeks so watch out, but it is pretty funny to watch him play.

The big hit was a new tricycle from Uncle Doug and Aunt Ellie. We tested it out the next day, but I need to find some pedal blocks to help him reach the pedals.

Mimi and Pop sent birthday money so Aiden picked out this train set. It has a remote control that makes the train go. Pretty neat. Uncle Ryan sent extra train sets and buildings to go with set he got Aiden for Christmas. That one is going to take alot of time to try and put together, so there aren't any pictures yet.

We also had is two year check-up on that Friday and he is 32 lbs and 36 inches tall. We attempted to draw blood so we could test for possible allergies and that was HORRIBLE!! They tried in he's first arm and he was so upset he blew the vein and they could find a good vein in the other arm. They did get some to test, but the things we were looking for like grass and mold they couldn't test so we'll just wait till he's older and do the skin test. Hopefully it will be less traumatic.

Birthday #1....

Aiden and I got to celebrate our birthday a little early.

I don't get to open my own presents anymore, because Aiden thinks they're all his.

I had been searching for a bag to use instead of a diaper bag while we have been in Florida. Thanks to Grams and GD the search is over.

The clothes weren't as big a hit as the books.

One good thing about having a birthday close to Christmas is you get to open presents for about a month.

Outback Bowl

Today we went to the Outback Bowl and watched Iowa and South Carolina play. Aiden had lots of fun watching the game.

We made Aiden a "Wingman" shirt to use with Uncle Ryan.

We had a fire going last night to cook our s'mores and this was Aiden ensemble, Wall-E pjs and Elmo slippers.
