Silly Boys

We haven't been up to much lately. School starts back for me on Tuesday, but the kids don't come until the following Thursday.
Aiden and Gavin eating chicken wings.
I was cleaning the other day and the boys were really quiet and when I went to investigate this is what I found.
I bought Aiden army men at Target in the dollar section one day and he has not stopped playing with them. The other night Aiden told Travis that he put all his men in the car and this is what he found.

I love this shot!

Cowboys Stadium

Last night Travis and I got to go to the new Cowboy's Stadium. Here are a couple of pictures of what $1 billion will buy you!

We are beside the ballpark with the stadium behind us.

The Cowboy Cheerleaders getting ready for the team to take the field.

The HUGE TV over the field.

One last shot as we left the game.

Caught Up

Hopefully I'm now caught up with all the summer pictures with this blog.

One morning we went outside to play in the front yard and I was able to catch a quick picture of Aiden relaxing.

We planted a few shrubs on Saturday, so of course Aiden had to help. He didn't want his little shovel he had to have the big one like Daddy.

Daddy put it right there!

Being silly with his shades.

Aiden and Gavin chillin' in the recliner watching a movie.

Jammin' with his air guitar.

Now it's a microphone.

First time kissing Ben!

Aiden and I go back to preschool next week and are looking forward to a great year!

Uncle Ryan came to visit.

Two weeks ago Uncle Ryan came to visit. Aiden had a great time with him as always.

We found a Cars puzzle that Uncle Ryan helped him put together.

All done!

They also decided one night to make brownies!

Silly Uncle Ryan

Such concentration

Is is time to stir?

We had lots of fun with Uncle Ryan and Aiden can't wait till his next visit.

Yesterday we all took a trip to the Dallas Zoo and had lots of fun.
We started with the parrot.

Then headed toward the African exhibits. You had to walk through a tunnel to get there and they had different pictures of animals on the wall that you could look through the lenses to see.

Our first stop was the penguins, our favorite!

Aiden couldn't help climbing all over the rocks between animals.

Next we headed to the Children's section of the zoo.

Aiden took a ride on a horse...

... and a little bronze lamb.

Aiden got to test out his jumping skills, but not before we had to get the dirt out of our shoe.

Before you get into the children's area they had lots of different bronze animals and Aiden found the armadillo and decided he would feed them.

I think these are raccoons?

And last but not least he needed to ride the carousel before we went home.

We had a great time at the zoo and look forward to going back Next time I think we'll try and take the train since it drops you off right outside the zoo entrance.

Swimming, headbands, and blue dye

We are finally starting to get back into our normal routine after a long summer of work. Here are a few pictures over the last few weeks.
One morning while I was cleaning Aiden came up to me saying he needed to wash his hands and when I looked down this is what I saw...
He had gotten into the blue food coloring while I was in another room.

I took him outside to wash most of it off, but it still took a couple of days to wear off.

I bought a few headbands and Aiden has taken to wearing them around the house when he plays.

Our good friends Ellie and Doug got engaged over the 4th of July so when they got back from the Bahamas we went to Doug's to celebrate. Aiden had a great time swimming in the pool with Doug.

Action shot!

I want to jump in again!

This is my favorite of them.

Getting ready to ride the scooter.

After a long day of swimming Aiden lounging on the couch watching a movie.

Another headband

One of Travis's dealers gave him a cube puzzle and Aiden tried to put it back together.

Today Uncle Ryan is coming to visit so I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures after this week.
